Question 12
Personal History Question 12 is, “Did you travel as a child? What was your favorite place to visit?”
Did we travel? Only to visit family. We took mini vacations camping in the summer, but any other time we traveled, it was to Baltimore or WV to visit family. And I loved every second of it. I loved my WV family so very much. Even as a teen/young adult, any time I got some vacation time, I was in my car and headed to Rowlesburg. I loved my time with my family. I loved Rowlesburg. Some of my best memories revolve around my time there. I miss my Nan and Pop SO MUCH it HURTS. Ugh.
So, yeah. Some times I wish I could say I traveled the world with my parents, because my dad loved history and we talked often about cool places to visit. However, my visits with my family as a child and on into adulthood were amazing and filled with lots of love and laughter, and I wouldn’t trade that for anything, especially since I no longer speak to any of them. 🙁
